About Us: The Phoenix Education Centre is a profit-for-purpose community interest company dedicated to providing mentoring and support, along with education and training opportunities, for the community of East Belfast. We take a community-based, community-focused, and community-led approach to tackling educational underachievement and improving opportunities in East Belfast. We also run a Social Enterprise called Resurge Clothing where we generate funds to become more self-sustaining.
Job Description:
As a Social Media/Marketing Intern, you will:
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments and messages.
- Help develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights for content creation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns.
- Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to track performance.
- Support other marketing activities as needed.
- Build and manage TikTok.
- Setting up TikTok and Instagram Shop for Resurge Clothing
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

- Assist in creating visual content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Develop graphics for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and posters.
- Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams to ensure cohesive branding and design.
- Support the creation of multimedia content, such as videos and animations.
- Help design presentations and reports to visually communicate key information.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new design concepts and ideas.
- Ensure all designs align with the company’s branding guidelines and mission.
- Help us recreate our logo!

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
